It is going to have an overclocked Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chip.

Confirmed with an overclocked Snapdragon 8S Gen 3, the Red Magic 9S Pro

The ZTE-owned company announced today that a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 variant with an overclocked Cortex-X4 core will be included in the upcoming Red Magic 9S Pro. A little bit faster than the typical 3.3 GHz, the core will be clocked at 3.4 GHz. Although it may not seem like much, it will undoubtedly improve how well difficult tasks are performed. The GPU has received the most attention, with a 10% speed boost to 1 GHz. The phone was listed on Geekbench not long after the announcement. This isn’t a coincidence, based on the timing.

In the Single Core tests, the Nubia Red Magic 9S Pro received 2,319 points, and in the Multi-Core tests, it received 7,215 points. Additionally, Geekbench confirms the existence of a 16 GB RAM variant, which we know will adhere to the LPDDR5X RAM standard. UFS 4.0 storage will also be available on the smartphone. According to Red Magic, the phone will be “powered by AI,” which, for those who don’t know, is the newest trend in smartphones, driven by the growth of artificial intelligence chatbots like ChatGPT.

The processor and the new AI features will probably have the biggest upgrades. The phone is probably going to maintain the same general design as the Red Magic 9S Pro, but we wouldn’t rule out the possibility of a new color option that is unique to this model. It most likely won’t change from its flat build with no back camera bumps. Regarding the cameras, they ought to be the same as those of the standard Red Magic 9 Pro.
